Week 3: For the Bulldogs' win versus South Carolina, Tate logged 80 snaps at guard. Although he was penalized once, he did not allow any quarterback pressures. He helped block for a team that threw for 269 yards and ran for 201.
Week 2: In the Bulldogs' win versus Ball State, Tate played 40 snaps at guard. Once again he did not allow any quarterback pressures. He also helped block for a team that threw for 287 yards and ran for 109.
Week 1: During Georgia's week one win versus Tennessee-Martin, Tate logged 57 snaps at guard. He did not allow any quarterback pressures and helped block for a team that threw for 403 yards.
