Week 9: Clemson fell to 4-4 after losing 24-17 to North Carolina State.

Week 8: Trotter played a season-high 76 snaps in the Tigers' 28-20 loss to Miami. Trotter was all over the field, recording 11 tackles and batting down two passes. He was targeted in coverage two times, allowing catches on both but for just two total yards.

Week 7: DNP — Clemson had its bye week.

Week 6: The LB was in on seven tackles in Clemson's 17-12 victory over Wake Forest. He notched two QB pressures. Not once was he targeted in pass coverage. Trotter was flagged twice in the game.

Week 5: In the Tigers' 31-14 rout of unbeaten Syracuse, Trotter again had a good day rushing the QB. In eight pass rushes, Trotter again got one sack and a separate pressure on QB Garrett Shrader. Week 5's other numbers also mirror those of Week 4 — Trotter was in on six tackles, missed three other opportunities, and allowed five catches, this time for 73 yards (a long of 37 yards), and a TD. BUT he did get an interception and a pass break-up and generally had a very strong game in run defense. — JH

Week 4: In Clemson's 31-24 loss to No. 4 Florida State, Trotter logged 62 total snaps. The LB recorded one sack and another QB pressure and was in on six tackles (two solo). But Trotter also missed three tackles and had problems when dropping into coverage, allowing five catches for 65 yards, including a long of 29 yards. — JH

Week 3: Trotter had an effective day cominng off the edge, as he recorded three QB pressures in Clemson's 48-14 stomping of Florida Atlantic. He was also in on three tackles. Florida Atlantic targeted Trotter four times in pass coverage; the linebacker allowed three receptions for a total of 20 yards. — JH

Week 2: Clemson bounced back with a huge win or Charleston Southern 66-17. Trotter recorded three tackles and one assisted tackle. Trotter also contributed to three stops on third down.

Week 1: Clemson fell to Duke 28-7 in their season opener. Linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. notched his second career forced fumble. Along with a nine-tackle performance—five unassisted takles, four assisted tackles — including one tackle for a five-yard loss. Trotter also hard two quaterback pressures.
