CB Shaquill Griffin is the only guaranteed starter expected to return to the Seahawks' secondary in 2018, but he thinks the Legion of Boom will live on. "Right now (the group's future) is kind of in the air, but trust me, the Legion of Boom will never go away," the 22-year-old Griffin said. "The thing is these are the guys who created the Legion of Boom. We all know that. But just because they might not be here or they're not coming back, the Legion of Boom is not over. This is a legacy that they created for young guys to come and take over. Trust me, we've got some great younger guys that are ready to compete and are ready to play ball. The Legion of Boom is never going to be over, but of course we want those guys back, because those are the originals."

LB Reuben Foster is cooperating with authorities following his second arrest in a month. Foster has had multiple conversations with team management in person and via phone since his arrest Sunday morning on charges related to domestic violence and possession of an assault rifle, NBC Sports California reported Tuesday. The 23-year-old Foster's arrest stemmed from an accusation by his girlfriend that he physically dragged her during an argument Sunday morning in Los Gatos, Calif., according to the San Jose Mercury News. Foster was released from jail on $75,000 bail Sunday night. The extent of the injuries to the victim, who reportedly was involved in a longtime relationship with Foster, was not revealed. Last month, Foster was arrested in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on a misdemeanor second-degree marijuana possession charge.

LB Reuben Foster was arrested for the second time in a month, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Sunday. Foster was held on $75,000 bail at the Santa Clara County jail after being booked on charges related to domestic violence and possessing an assault rifle in Los Gatos, Calif. "The San Francisco 49ers' organization is aware of the report regarding Reuben Foster," the 49ers said in a statement. "We take matters of this nature seriously and are gathering all pertinent information." The 23-year-old Foster was also arrested Jan. 12 in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on a misdemeanor second-degree marijuana possession charge.

02/10/18 - *DOnta Foreman, Texas, Texans
Houston Texans RB D'Onta Foreman will have all charges from an arrest last year dismissed if he can stay out of trouble for the next three months. Foreman's attorney, Chip Lewis, told the Houston Chronicle on Saturday that his client pleaded no contest to one count of disorderly conduct -- a misdemeanor charge that will wiped off the books if the running back avoids legal issues for 90 days. Foreman, who just completed his rookie season with the Texans, had initially been charged with possession of marijuana and unlawful carrying of a weapon -- both misdemeanors -- stemming from his arrest last July in Austin, Texas. As part of the plea deal, Foreman had to pay a $500 fine and hand over the gun that police found in his car. However, he will not face any punishment from the NFL, according to his lawyer.

TE Billy Brown signed a contract, the team announced. Brown spent the 2017 season on the team's practice squad after reeling in eight receptions for 51 yards during the preseason. The 6-foot-4, 241-pound Brown joins fellow tight ends Zach Ertz, Brent Celek, Trey Burton and Joshua Perkins on the roster. While Ertz is the starter, Celek's future is in question with a $5 million cap hit and Burton is a free agent. Perkins was signed to a futures deal in January.

DB Sidney Jones fumbled his phone during the team's Super Bowl parade on Thursday. Jones took to social media at 4:12 p.m. ET and announced he lost his phone. The 21-year-old posted that it was found 17 minutes later, as the group of 10 fans who discovered the lost phone took a photo with it and posted it to Jones' Instagram page. Jones rewarded the fans with a group photo of his own, thus adding to the highlights of a memorable day in the City of Brotherly Love.

QB Deshaun Watson posted a video over social media of him running on a treadmill for the first time since sustaining a season-ending torn ACL injury. The Instagram video showed Watson's jog on an anti-gravity treadmill on Monday with the following caption: "Officially day 1 of the 2018 NFL season today.. and today is officially my first day back running! Crazy how God works!"

RB Alvin Kamara was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Kamara rushed for 728 yards, eight touchdowns and a 6.1-yards-per-carry average while also catching 81 passes for 826 yards and five TDs.

CB Marshon Lattimore was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. Lattimore intercepted five passes and had 18 passes defensed in 13 games.

RB Alvin Kamara is among the favorites for the NFL Rookie of the Year award, but he already can claim the title of the people's choice. Kamara was named the 2017 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year in an online vote of the league's fans conducted on NFL.com. The league will announce its winner of NFL Rookie of the Year on Saturday night. A third-round draft pick out of the University of Tennessee, Kamara has a sensational first season by leading all rookies with 14 touchdowns en route to earning a Pro Bowl berth.

02/02/18 - *Dalvin Cook, Florida St, Vikings
RB Dalvin Cook, who sustained a severe knee injury early in the 2017 season, is on schedule to return to the field in 2018. Cook, a second-round pick in the 2017 draft, rushed for 354 yards on 74 carries (a 4.8-yard average) and scored two touchdowns in three-plus games in his rookie season. However, he suffered a torn ACL in Week 4 and missed the rest of the season.

WR Rodney Adams was signed to a reserve/future contract by the Indianapolis Colts, the team announced Friday. Adams was a member of the Minnesota Vikings' active roster for the first half of the 2017 season but was waived on Oct. 30. He was signed to the team's practice squad two days later.

WR Ryan Switzer underwent arthroscopic ankle surgery. Switzer had bone spurs removed from his left ankle, according to the Cowboys' official website. He is expected to be ready for the start of the team's offseason program. Switzer, a fourth-round draft pick out of West Virginia, was utilized primarily on special teams. He earned a spot on the Pro Football Writers Association All-Rookie team as a kick returner. Switzer had only six receptions for 41 yards for the year, capped by a four-catch performance at Philadelphia in the regular-season finale. Switzer averaged 8.8 yards on 29 point returns and 25.0 yards on 24 kick returns while appearing in all 16 games for Dallas.

DE Deatrich Wise returned to practice on Saturday after sustaining a concussion during the AFC Championship Game. The 23-year-old Wise had 26 tackles and 5.0 sacks in 16 regular-season games since being selected in the fourth round of the 2017 draft.

CB Marlon Humphrey's lawyer said Friday he believes a warrant issued for the arrest his client for the alleged theft of a phone charger will be dismissed. Humphrey, the Ravens' first-round pick in 2017, faces a charge of third-degree robbery (which involves using or threatening force), according to the Tuscaloosa (Ala.) County Sheriff's Office. "This young man has 11 million reasons why not to steal a $15 cord," said Paul Patterson, Humphrey's lawyer. Humphrey signed a four-year, $11.8 million rookie contract with the Ravens.

CB Marlon Humphrey was arrested on a third-degree robbery charge, according to the Tuscaloosa County (Ala.) Jail database. Humphrey, who was booked in Tuscaloosa County Jail on $2,500 bond, allegedly stole a telephone charger valued at $15, per the police report. The incident occurred on Jan. 13 at the Hotel Capstone on Alabama's campus. "Marlon told us that it was a misunderstanding regarding a $15 telephone charger, which he thought was his. Our understanding is that he has been interviewed by University of Alabama Police and is cooperating. We are monitoring the situation," the Ravens said in a statement.
