01/20/18 - (RB) - Bryce Love, Jr, 5-09, 196
NFL Early Entries: College Winners and Losers: Winner/loser -- STANFORD: The Cardinal took a few gut punches on defense. High-motor defensive tackle Harrison Phillips is a first-round talent and Stanford's two best defensive backs -- cornerback Quenton Meeks and safety Justin Reid -- also made the jump to the NFL. On the other hand, All-American running back Bryce Love made a savvy decision to stay for his senior season, poised to make another Heisman run and position himself at the top of what looks like a much weaker running back draft class in 2019. - Anthony Gimino, The Sports Xchange

01/19/18 - (DT) - *Harrison Phillips, rJr, 6-3, 295
DT Harrison Phillips is an impressive individual. Off the field, he earned Academic All-America honors and graduated early with a double-degree from one of this country's top universities. On the field, Phillips recorded 103 tackles, including 17 for loss, which are remarkable numbers for any position, but especially impressive considering he lined up as a nose tackle in the Cardinal's 3-4 scheme. Phillips doesn't play with much flash and won't produce off-the-chart numbers at the Combine, so the Senior Bowl is the perfect place to showcase his skill-set. He is a bully at the point of attack with his hammer hands and wrestling background, making him a nuisance to block. Phillips is highly intelligent and relies on various techniques to consistently be in the right place at the right time. -- Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com

01/16/18 - (RB) - Bryce Love, Jr, 5-09, 196
Heisman Trophy runner-up Bryce Love will return to Stanford for his senior season. His father, Christopher Love, told multiple outlets of his son's decision late Monday night. The San Francisco Chronicle wrote that "the junior tailback didn't make his decision until the last possible minute Monday night, the deadline for entering the NFL draft." The younger Love finished second in the Heisman Trophy voting behind Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield. Love did pick up his fair share of honors, however. He claimed the Doak Walker Award as the top running back in the FBS and Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year honors after rushing for 2,118 yards with an FBS-best 8.1 yards per carry. He also tied for fifth in rushing touchdowns with 19. Love reportedly set those totals while nursing an ankle injury through the final six games of the season. - The Sports Xchange

01/10/18 - (CB) - *Quenton Meeks, Jr, 6-1, 197
Stanford cornerback Quenton Meeks says he will skip his senior season to enter the NFL draft. Meeks said Wednesday he has grown a lot in his three years at Stanford and is ready to pursue his ultimate dream of playing in the NFL. Meeks was a second-team All-Pac-12 pick this season when he had 65 tackles, two interceptions and eight pass breakups. Meeks is the third prominent defensive player for Stanford to leave early for the NFL, following safety Justin Reid and defensive tackle Harrison Phillips. Tight end Dalton Schultz has also declared for the draft and the Cardinal are awaiting a decision from Heisman Trophy runner-up running back Bryce Love. - AP College Football

01/09/18 - (FS) - *Justin Reid, Jr, 6-1, 204
Stanford safety Justin Reid will skip his senior season to enter the NFL draft. Reid announced his decision Tuesday, calling his time at Stanford some of the best years of his life. Reid was a second-team All-American this season. He had five interceptions, six pass breakups and 99 tackles, including 6 1/2 for a loss. Reid is the younger brother of San Francisco 49ers safety Eric Reid, who is eligible for free agency this offseason. - AP College Football

01/04/18 - (DT) - *Harrison Phillips, rJr, 6-3, 295
Stanford defensive lineman Harrison Phillips will bypass his final year of eligibility to enter the NFL draft. Phillips announced his decision on Thursday. Phillips was a third-team All-American this season when he had 14 1/2 tackles for loss and 7 1/2 sacks for the Cardinal. Phillips had one year of eligibility remaining because he had a season-ending knee injury in the 2015 opener and was eligible for a medical redshirt. Stanford tight end Dalton Schultz declared for the draft earlier this week. The Cardinal are still waiting for a decision from star running back and Heisman runner-up Bryce Love. - AP College Football

01/03/18 - (TE) - *Dalton Schultz, rJr, 6-5, 242
Stanford tight end Dalton Schultz will skip his final season of eligibility and enter the NFL draft. Schultz said Wednesday that he will cherish his memories from Stanford but wants to pursue his childhood dream of playing in the NFL. Schultz was an All-Pac-12 selection this season when he had 22 catches for 212 yards and three touchdowns. In three seasons for the Cardinal, Schultz had 55 catches for 555 yards and five TDs. Stanford is in good shape at tight end with Kaden Smith back after catching 23 passes for 414 yards and five TDs this season. - AP College Football
