Jason Smith  (rSr), OT
6-5 309 5.09
Jason Smith heading into rSr season: 2008: The Football Writers Association All-American first-team choice became Baylor's first offensive lineman since guard Frank Ditta in 1980 and the Bears' first All-American offensive tackle since Mike Hughes in 1975...Added second-team All-American accolades from The NFL Draft Report and third-team recognition by Rivals.com...Unanimous All-Big Twelve Conference first-team selection...Named the team's co-Most Valuable Player...The left offensive tackle led the conference with seventeen touchdown-resulting blocks...His 96 knockdown blocks were the most ever by a Baylor offensive lineman...Added a league-high (for a down lineman) thirteen down field blocks, but was penalized five times...Was charged with just two quarterback pressures and 3.5 sacks on 290 pass plays...Was the major reason the team ranked 21st in the nation and third in the Big Twelve in rushing, averaging 195.75 yards per game, a vast improvement over 2007, when the Bears ranked 113th nationally (77.83 yards per game)...The team's 29 touchdown runs are the most by a Baylor squad since 1994 and rank third on the team season-record list...Graded at least 90% for blocking consistency in four contests (Wake Forest, Northwestern State, Texas A&M and Texas Tech)...2007: Earned honorable mention All-Big 12 honors as a junior offensive tackle from The Associated Press despite being slowed by a sprained knee injury for much of season ... Played and started in seven games at left tackle ...Was a key performer along a Bears' o-line which yielded just 21 sacks, the program's fewest since 1995 ... Sustained a right MCL strain in season-opener at No. 22 TCU which sidelined him for three games, then returned to start at Texas A&M and vs. Colorado...2006: 11 GP; 8 GS; Rec: 6-70-11.7-1; Moved from tight end to offensive tackle prior to spring practice and went on to start all 12 games of his sophomore season as the Bears' right tackle ... Bryce Petty  (rSr), QB
6-3 230 4.64
Bryce Petty heading into rSr season: .
2
*Robert Griffin  (rJr), QB
6-2 223 4.33
*Robert Griffin heading into rJr season: Given that the Redskins seemed to have chosen SMU guard Josh LeRibeus way too early in the third round and their other picks were all fourth-rounders on down, their draft was all about quarterbacks. They traded their first-rounders this year, next year and 2014 and their second-rounder this year to St. Louis to move up four spots to select Baylor's Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III second overall. And then they used their third pick, the seventh selection in the fourth round, on Michigan State's three-year starter, Kirk Cousins. The move hearkens back to 1994, the last draft in which the Redskins chose a quarterback in the top 10 when they picked Heath Shuler third overall. He was eventually beaten out by Gus Frerotte, a seventh-rounder in the same draft. BEST PICK: Quarterback Robert Griffin III: The strong-armed, swift Griffin is the perfect new leader for a team that has started 21 quarterbacks over the last 19 seasons and has lacked a face of the franchise for nearly as long. Griffin is expected to be the opening day starter replacing holdover Rex Grossman. - The Sports Xchange

6-5 329 5.31
Cyril Richardson heading into rSr season: A closer look at the Bills picks: Round 5/153 -- Cyril Richardson, G, 6-5, 343, Baylor...He had weight issues his senior year that prevented him from being a much higher pick. Was the leader of a line that blocked for the NCAA's top offense, which averaged 52 points per game. He was a finalist for the Outland Trophy, but some scouts said he lacked good movement and could be beaten by faster pass rushers up the middle. At left guard he was credited with 83 knockdown blocks. As a child, his family was displaced by Hurricane Katrina and they wound up in Fort Worth, Tex. - The Sports Xchange
7
Ahmad Dixon  (Sr), SS

Ahmad Dixon heading into Sr season: A closer look at the Cowboys' picks: Round 7/248 -- Ahmad Dixon, SS, 6-0, 212, Baylor...The Cowboys see him as a hard-hitting box safety. *PLEASE NOTE*: Draft Scout Members have access to all player ratings.

Number of Players NFL Draft Scout is currently tracking:
(Player Tracking) - Players are rated and updated throughout the season. Those with a "99" or "999" are currently listed but UNRATED. The top % of these players have extensive scouting reports created, official NFL draft biographies by Dave Te' Thomas prepared (full versions only available here at Draft Scout), combine & pro day workout results posted, media interviews & more included in their profile during the senior season.

-Players with a "99" or"999" grade are currently UNRATED
NFLDraftScout.com uses the best verifiable 40-yard time for each player. There is no single, official 40-yard time for any player, even those who run at the Indianapolis Combine. Those players who participate in the 40 yards at the Combine actually run twice and on each run they are timed by two hand-held stopwatches and one electronic timer (that is actually initiated by hand on the player's first movement). Combine data includes all six of those times for each player, but no single official time. Team scouts and coaches have various approaches for getting the 40 time they use from those six timings. Some use averages. Some throw out slowest and fastest and then average the rest. In deference to each player, NFLDraftScout.com attempts to use the best verifiable time that seems appropriate for each player. That is the 40 time we post.

2009 Draft: 2491
2010 Draft: 1990
2011 Draft: 2083
2012 Draft: 1970

"I have always read Sports Weekly and when I found out you guys were bringing this online, I was excited.
This is WAY more than I expected, an insane amount of info!"

"The best draft information out there, period!"

"The Draft Scout team works hard. You'll be amazed by the amount of info. Plus, not alot of people know this but they think they fly under the radar here. They don't. They are the major players in college player info distribution. Look around all the major websites (not the mom & pop draft sites) on the net. It's them doing it!"

"I bet you guys save agents a TON of money. If not, they might as well lay off their own research guys, you guys are it!"
"A never ending virtual book of non-stop, year-round college football greatness. Just to see the players rated together and moving around during the season, then the post season player draft reports are books of their own. Well worth the 25 bucks a year, and then some!"

"I belong to a few premium draft sites but I always visit yours first. In fact, many times a day. Thanks for the great service!"

"You guys are Pros and it shows. We look forward to working with you much more in the future."

"Thanks for all your help with my son. No one would cover or show him off but you guys did and it got him alot of teams interested in his services. He made it into camp this fall."
"They just keep adding more and more ways to compare players, there's nothing else like what's inside this great website."

"The most detailed draft profiles (yes, they are Official folks), what's next? Dave Te' Thomas is the MAN!"

"I have been following Brian's work since 1998 with his football video game sites. His approach to detail is unique. What he has done here blows my mind."

These guys OWN the market. They are it! They also have stated what they plan to do and their expansion projects, it's amazing and I look very forward to it."
