Lockette had surgery to stabilize his neck after a hit from Jeff Heath of the Cowboys left him motionless on the turf at AT&T Stadium two weeks ago. While the team has not speculated on Lockette's chances of returning to football at some point, Lockette was far more certain of his certain of his future. "I expect to be a Pro Bowler," he said when asked if he expected to play next season.

He had surgery the next day to stabilize his neck and remained in the hospital a few extra days for evaluation.
11/04/15 - WR Ricardo Lockette underwent surgery Monday to stabilize his neck after the Seattle Seahawks wide receiver sustained ligament damage and a concussion in a brutal collision with the Dallas Cowboys' Jeff Heath on a punt return Sunday. According to the team, Lockette is expected to stay at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas for several days to recover, and he will be up and moving as soon as Tuesday. All neurological signs were reported to be positive. Lockette will be placed on injured reserve and will miss the remainder of the season.
