 Draft Scout Tanner Marsh News
09/02/12 - Sophomore Trevor Pinkston booted three field goals, senior Tanner Marsh was 28-of-37 passing for 319 yards, and freshman Logan Genz picked up nine tackles as the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys (1-0) picked up a 16-14 win in their season opener over Bacone College on Saturday at Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field. The win marks Arkansas Tech's 100th win since moving to Division II. Pinkston kicked the game-winning 25-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter. On the Warriors' last drive, they advanced as far as the Tech 32-yard line before a pass by Ryan Morrow was picked off by Jacob Midyett with 48 seconds remaining, sealing the Arkansas Tech win. With the win, the Wonder Boys improved to 66-25-5 all-time in home openers. Jonathan Keener had 100 yards receiving on four catches in the winning effort, while preseason All-American Roland Dampeer turned in a three tackle night with two quarterback hurries. - Great American football
