01/22/13 - WR Andre Holmes signed a 2013 contract with the Patriots Monday. He ended the season on the team's practice squad.
01/09/13 - WR Andre Holmes was recently signed to the Patriots' practice squad. Holmes won't be playing Sunday, but he's playing a role by helping simulate Texans' wideout Andre Johnson during practice.
Johnson is 6-foot-4, just an inch taller than Holmes, so Holmes is providing good practice for his defensive teammates.
"I was used as him (on) a few reps," Holmes said. "(Tuesday) was kind of just a feel-out type of day. I'll be looking to play him a little bit."
