12/15/14 - C Nick Mangold (finger) briefly left the field during the Jets' game-winning touchdown drive in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 16-11 victory over the Titans. Prior to Sunday, Mangold hadn't missed a snap all season. He returned in time for the end of the drive. X-rays on the finger following the game were negative.
12/14/14 - C Nick Mangold (finger) left the field briefly in the fourth quarter, but returned in time to help New York score its winning TD with 3:09 left on Chris Ivory's 1-yard run. Mangold should be able to play next week against New England.
08/09/14 - C Nick Mangold missed practice Saturday because his wife gave birth to a daughter. "He had a personal thing and it was a good personal thing," head coach Rex Ryan said.
11/27/13 - C Nick Mangold (right wrist) didn't participate in the media availability portion of practice on Wednesday. With Mangold out, center was manned by Caleb Schlauderaff. Mangold wasn't listed on the injury report last week even though he was seen with a giant cast on his right hand. Mangold has missed just two games; both in 2011 since he was drafted by the Jets in 2006.
11/25/13 - C Nick Mangold was "credited" with the Jets' lost fumble in their 19-3 loss to the Ravens. The third quarter fumble, which happened when Geno Smith mistimed the snap count and Mangold's snap hit the hip of in-motion receiver Greg Salas, was initially assigned to Smith. It is the fourth fumble of Mangold's eight-year career.
