Draft Scout C.J. Anderson News
12/22/16 - RB C.J. Anderson is not expected to return this season, even if the Broncos go to the Super Bowl. Anderson has been out since Week 7 because of a torn meniscus. He was placed on injured reserve one week later and is eligible to return, but isn't expected to start running for another two weeks and won't be fully cleared until February.
11/01/16 - RB C.J. Anderson was placed on injured reserve Saturday following surgery to repair torn meniscus in his knee. Anderson is not eligible to be activated from injured reserve until the final week of the regular season, although he can begin practicing before then if he has healed.
10/28/16 - RB C.J. Anderson was placed on injured reserve Friday after undergoing surgery on his right knee one day earlier. Anderson underwent an arthroscopic procedure to repair meniscus damage. A timetable for his return hasn't yet been determined but the decision to place him on injured reserve means he would have to miss at least eight games.
10/27/16 - RB C.J. Anderson did not practice Wednesday as he traveled to San Francisco to seek a second opinion on the knee he injured Monday night. Anderson kept playing after injuring the knee and finished with his first 100-yard game of the season, but felt discomfort a day later.
10/27/16 - RB C.J. Anderson suffered a knee injury and could miss time, but tests on Anderson's right knee did not show any damage to his anterior cruciate ligament.
Anderson missed Wednesday's practice when he went to seek a second opinion on the knee, and if he is out for an extended period, it would be up to rookie Devontae Booker and reserve Kapri Bibbs to pick up the slack.
