Draft Scout Vick Ballard News
09/19/13 - RB Vick Ballard (knee) was placed on injured reserve last Saturday.
09/13/13 - RB Vick Ballard (knee) saw limited practice on Thursday. Ballard is expected to start Sunday against the Dolphins.
09/12/13 - RB Vick Ballard will remain No. 1 on the depth chart for now with Ahmad Bradshaw healthy and ready to go. "You go with the hot hand, but we're going to try to get Ahmad his touches. Vick did a great job. He ran hard (against Oakland). We know how well he protected in the pass game. So we're never going to discount that. But, you got a playmaker in Ahmad and don't forget Donnie (Donald) Brown," Pagano said. "We've got to make sure that there's a guy that's a home-run hitter. We're not going to just let him sit idle. There's a guy that you can design and have packages and have plays for that can do certain things for you. I feel like we've got three guys that can do great things for us."
09/05/13 - RB Vick Ballard isn't concerned about the addition of Ahmad Bradshaw to the Colts' running back corps. Ballard thinks that the carries will be split three ways, along with RB Donald Brown. "Not really. Obviously, I think we're going to split the carries," he said. "I don't know how they're going to end up, but however the cards fall, I'm cool with it. I'm just here to do my job and do it to the best of my ability."
01/06/13 - RB Vick Ballard led the team in rushing with 22 carries for 91 yards in the playoff loss to Baltimore.
It was the ninth most rushing yards by a Colts running back in a single postseason game and the most since Dominic Rhodes totaled 113 against the Bears in Super Bowl XLI (2/4/07).
