 Draft Scout Josh Bellamy News
09/14/17 - WR Josh Bellamy (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Thursday despite an injury sustained in practice. Head coach John Fox characterized it as a minor injury, but any injury to the Bears' depleted receiver corps has to be taken seriously. Bellamy likely would have had a big role in third-down passing, if not the regular offense, following the season-ending injuries to Cameron Meredith and Kevin White.
08/29/17 - WR Josh Bellamny (ankle) returned Tuesday to practice and may play Thursday against Cleveland.
12/21/16 - WR Josh Bellamy (shoulder) practiced on a full basis after practicing Tuesday on a limited basis and is expected to play Saturday.
12/07/16 - WR Josh Bellamy (shoulder) practiced Wednesday on a limited basis due to soreness resulting from a play in Sunday's win over San Francisco. He is expected to play Sunday.
04/19/16 - WR Joshua Bellamy, who was tendered as an exclusive-rights free agent by the Bears, was re-signed Monday (April 18). Bellamy has appeared in 28 games (three starts) with Kansas City (2012), Washington (2013) and Chicago (2014-15), hauling in 19 receptions for 224 yards and two touchdowns with all receiving statistics coming with the Bears. He has added 13 special teams tackles, one opponent fumble recovery on a muffed punt and five kickoff returns for 113 yards. Last season, Bellamy finished second on the Bears with 10 special teams tackles along with an opponent fumble recovery and added 19 receptions for 224 yards and two touchdowns.
