09/02/15 - QB Tyler Bray (knee) placed on reserve/non-football injury by the Chiefs Tuesday (Sept. 1).
08/19/15 - QB Tyler Bray continues to rehab his surgically repaired ACL that's kept him on the non-football injury list throughout training camp. Bray works out after practice every day, taking pass drops and throwing the ball, but the Chiefs have not yet said when he might be able to return to full-time work. There's a good chance he'll start the regular season on the NFI list.
08/10/15 - QB Tyler Bray has not been cleared to practice and continues to rehab his left knee after ACL surgery back in January. Bray suffered the torn ligament playing basketball and is currently on the non-football injury list.
07/29/15 - QB Tyler Bray (knee) failed his physical with the Chiefs Wednesday (July 29) and was placed on the non-football injury list. He still counts against the 90-man roster.
01/20/15 - QB Tyler Bray suffered a torn ACL, apparently after the season ended. The Chiefs announced the injury, but didn't reveal how or when it happened. Said general manager John Dorsey, "Anytime one of your players suffers a significant injury like Tyler's it is disappointing, and we hurt for the player."
Bray spent the entire 2014 season on injured reserve after injuring his knee and ankle in the final preseason game.
The latest injury likely occurred prior to Jan. 7, which was only 10 days after the final regular-season. It was on that day that QB Terrelle Pryor had a tryout with the Chiefs, and he was signed the following day.
Said Dorsey, "With Tyler's injury having a longer recovery time, we've signed quarterback Terrelle Pryor to a reserve/futures contract. As we've said before, we are always looking to add talented players to our roster, and Terrelle was among the top players on our ready list at that position with his athleticism and experience. We believe having him in our quarterback room and working with our offensive coaches will enhance his growth."
