Draft Scout News
05/26/16 - QB Tyler Bray began the Chiefs' on-field sessions this past week as the No. 2 quarterback and he did nothing during three practices that should cost him that position in the next round of work. Bray was accurate and showed a willingness to throw the ball down the field. In his fourth year out of Tennessee, Bray appeared comfortable in understanding the offense. "I haven't taken a rep in a while so just going out there, commanding the huddle, getting in and out with enough time to run a play and just trying to execute a play," is what Bray said he's dealing with right now. Bray missed all of 2015, including training camp and the preseason, after suffering a torn ACL during an offseason basketball game.
12/16/15 - QB Tyler Bray had his practice-period expire Tuesday (Dec. 15) with the Chiefs and will remain on reserve/non-football injury for the remainder of the season.
09/02/15 - QB Tyler Bray (knee) placed on reserve/non-football injury by the Chiefs Tuesday (Sept. 1).
08/19/15 - QB Tyler Bray continues to rehab his surgically repaired ACL that's kept him on the non-football injury list throughout training camp. Bray works out after practice every day, taking pass drops and throwing the ball, but the Chiefs have not yet said when he might be able to return to full-time work. There's a good chance he'll start the regular season on the NFI list.
08/10/15 - QB Tyler Bray has not been cleared to practice and continues to rehab his left knee after ACL surgery back in January. Bray suffered the torn ligament playing basketball and is currently on the non-football injury list.
