05/01/13 - Chiefs Agree to Terms with 13 Rookie Free Agents...QB Tyler Bray (6-6, 215) played in 28 games (24 starts) with Tennessee completing 540 passes on 922 attempts (58.6 pct.) for 7,444 yards with 69 touchdowns and 28 interceptions. Bray prepped at Kingsburg High School in Kingsburg, California. - KCChiefs.com
04/29/13 - Former Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray signed with the Kansas City Chiefs after going undrafted Saturday, according to an ESPN report. The No. 92 overall prospect by NFLDraftScout.com entering the draft and the No. 7-rated quarterback, Bray headed a star-laden group of underclassmen who went undrafted.

Projeced as a third-round prospect, Bray was one of several quarterbacks who slid dramatically during the three-day event due to a general lack of need for most of the 32 teams in the NFL. Florida State's EJ Manuel was the only quarterback selected in the first round, and former Heisman Trophy hopeful Matt Barkley fell all the way to the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round.

Bray left Tennessee following a record-breaking 2012 season that included 3,612 passing yards and 34 touchdowns against 12 interceptions with a 59.6 completion percentage. However, he appeared timid during his media session at the Scouting Combine. Failing to distinguish himself from the second-tier quarterback class, Bray was subject to a significant fall come the draft, and that's exactly what transpired. - Derek Harper, The Sports Xchange

04/29/13 - 2013 NFL DRAFT: TOP 10 UNDRAFTED UNDERCLASSMEN: 1. QB Tyler Bray, Tennessee (6-6, 232, 5.05)...The most surprising undrafted prospect, underclassman or not, was the former Tennessee passer. He has top-shelf arm talent and can make all the throws necessary at the NFL level with ease, but the off-field concerns and shortcomings above the shoulders were likely too much to overlook for pro teams. Bray is an example of a prospect who has all the physical tools imaginable, but the below-average intangibles likely took him off the board entirely for most teams. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
03/28/13 - 2013 Tennessee Pro Day: All 32 NFL teams sent representatives to Wednesday’s pro day at the University of Tennessee, where wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson and quarterback Tyler Bray were the big attractions. Bray, the 6-6 3/8, 229-pound QB has a big arm, really spins the ball well, but needs to work on his accuracy. Thirteen Tennessee players, plus one each from Tennessee-Martin and Tennessee Tech, participated in the workout, which was held indoors on FieldTurf. - Gil Brandt, NFL.com
03/24/13 - 2012 Tennessee Pro Day: Based on tape, scouts know the Vols were talented. They had one final opportunity to witness the Tennessee standouts together Wednesday during the school's Pro Day. The 6-foot-6 (3/8), 229-pound Bray stood on his numbers from the combine but threw the ball Wednesday. According to a league source on hand for the workout, Bray was "good, not great" during the throwing session, firing in passes to all levels of the field and demonstrating the arm talent that has earned comparisons to anyone to former SEC star Jay Cutler (Vanderbilt). - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com
