 Draft Scout Terrence Brooks News
10/21/15 - S Terrence Brooks was inactive against the 49ers because of a hand injury. Ravens coach John Harbaugh could not elaborate on the severity of the injury. "I don't have an update on him," Harbaugh said. However, the injuries are beginning to become troublesome in Baltimore's secondary and it will need as many healthy bodies as possible.
10/14/15 - S Terrence Brooks was pressed into a fifth defensive back role because of injuries to cornerbacks Will Davis and Lardarius Webb. Harbaugh was encouraged by the way Brooks adapted to the challenge. "Terrence is a football player," Harbaugh said. "He's fast, he's a very good blitzer, he plays the run well and he's probably likening it to a strong safety-type position in base defense, and there are some similarities there. I think that's why he's comfortable in there. Obviously, he can continue to improve. I'm sure he'd be the first to tell you that. But he has some skills, speed, toughness, he plays in the box well as a box safety, and that fits that role to some degree."
08/31/15 - S Terrence Brooks saw his first action of the preseason against the Redskins. Brooks tore the anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in his right knee in December against the Jaguars. He had surgery and started training camp on the PUP list.
08/20/15 - S Terrence Brooks, who began training camp on the PUP list after tearing his ACL and MCL on Dec. 14 against the Jaguars, was able to get back on the practice field this week. Brooks could provide added depth in the secondary, especially with the injury to Matt Elam (torn biceps). "He's back, and we've been talking about this for about the last week," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said about Brooks. "We felt like he's way ahead of his rehab. He has really done a great job. I don't think you ever really know how well a guy is going to move around, football-wise, until he starts moving around football-wise."
08/18/15 - S Terrence Brooks passed his physical with the Ravens Tuesday (Aug. 18) and was removed from the physically unable to perform list.
