 Draft Scout Terrence Brooks News
04/17/14 - Five players who should be on the Indianapolis Colts' draft radar: FS Terrence Brooks, Florida State: While the Colts made some strong moves in free agency, the loss of steady homegrown product Antoine Bethea (to San Francisco) makes finding a cover safety to pair with hard-hitting LaRon Landry an obvious priority. Brooks' relatively slim frame (5-foot-11, 198) and lack of interceptions could push him into the deep second round but he's a fluid, instinctive centerfielder with speed to burn. - Rob Rang, The Sports Xchange
12/26/13 - CBSSPORTS.COM ALL-AMERICANS: FIRST-TEAM DEFENSE AS NFL DRAFT PROSPECTS: S - Terrence Brooks, Sr., Florida State: Brooks lack of dominating statistics led to his being overshadowed at times but NFL scouts are intrigued with the former cornerback's agility, range and willingness to be physical in run support. Voted to the First Team All-ACC unit by coaches (but only second-team by the media), Brooks' toughness and versatility could lead to a second-day selection in the draft despite few outside of Tallahassee realizing his importance to the Seminoles' undefeated season. - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com
12/13/13 - 2013 ALL-ACC FIRST TEAM (COACHES): S-Terrence Brooks, Sr., Florida State (33)...Has been selected First Team All-ACC for the 2013 college football season by the ACC Coaches. - Florida State football
12/04/13 - 2013 ALL-ACC SECOND TEAM (MEDIA): S Terrence Brooks, Florida State, 5-11, 200, Sr., Dunnellon, Fla. (97)...Has been selected Second Team All-ACC for the 2013 college football season by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA). - Florida State football
09/11/13 - Scouting the pass defense: Florida State allowed Pitt to pass for 201 yards and a touchdown last week -- slightly above the average of 161.9 yards its defense allowed per game last year -- but the majority of those yards came on the opening drive of the game. After Pitt jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, only to be held to six points the rest of the night, the Seminoles' secondary settled in and forced Panthers QB Tom Savage into some bad throws, resulting in two interceptions by the defense.

The first of the two picks was snagged by FSU newcomer Jalen Ramsey, a heralded freshman Fisher raved about during preseason practice. Terrance Brooks, a senior, recorded the other, giving the Seminoles two quick interceptions after recording only 10 all of last year. The Seminoles should have their hands full, however, with Nevada QB Cody Fajardo on Saturday. The junior was 18 of 21 for 239 yards in the Wolfpack's win against UC-Davis when he was pulled in the third quarter. Fajardo, the 10th-leading passer in Nevada history as just a junior, needs 104 yards to reach the 5,000-yard milestone, tallying 4,896 in just two seasons under center for the Wolfpack. - The Sports Xchange
