He finished with three tackles and one sack Sunday.
09/12/15 - DT Tyrone Crawford signed a reported five-year, $45 million contract extension with the Cowboys on Saturday (Sept. 12), the day before they open the season against the New York Giants.
The deal includes $25.7 million guaranteed, ESPN reported.
Crawford, 25, was a target of the Cowboys for a new deal at the start of training camp.
The agile 290-pound under tackle had three sacks and 29 quarterback hurries last season and started 15 games in just his second full season. A third-round pick in 2012, Crawford missed the 2013 season with a ruptured Achilles.
01/05/15 - DT Tyrone Crawford played through an allergic reaction to shellfish in a Cowboys 24-20 win over the Lions. Crawford tried lobster dinner on Thursday night and didn't know he was allergic to shellfish until he woke up sick Friday morning. He missed practice Friday and was still under the weather on Sunday. He had three tackles and a batted pass in the game, receiving an IV at halftime and throwing up on the sideline.
"I wasn't coming off the field for this one," Crawford said. "They told me that they put me as a maybe to play. I told (head athletic trainer Jim Maurer), 'You can do whatever you want. I will be playing.' Even the way I felt Friday -- I felt like I should have been in the hospital -- I still would have played."
