 Draft Scout *Justin Hunter News
09/11/14 - WR Justin Hunter was listed as limited for the second straight day with a knee injury. He is expected to play on Sunday vs. the Cowboys.
08/10/14 - WR Justin Hunter has been drawing praises and promise throughout the entire offseason. Hunter said his goal this season is to catch 60 passes, which would be a far cry from the 18 he caught as a rookie last year. "My biggest goal it to have a lot more catches this year. If I could catch 60 balls, that would be great. It would really help out the team," the former University of Tennessee star told 102.5 The Game in Nashville. "I'm working on those underneath routes and being a more complete receiver this year. I can't have a drop-off year. I have to improve from last year." Coach Ken Whisenhunt sees flashes from Hunter, but wants to see more consistency. "He's got room to improve. I think he's working at it. He's just a little bit inconsistent. The games are a good test, at least you get to see a little more, but he's doing some good things, and he's lacking some consistency sometimes," Whisenhunt said.
07/30/14 - WR Justin Hunter, who has been making big catches throughout OTAs and the early part of training camp got noticed another way, when he and safety Michael Griffin got into a fracas while Hunter was blocking Griffin on a running play.
12/19/13 - WR Justin Hunter should be back and active this week after being inactive Sunday for violating an undisclosed team rule.
12/09/13 - WR Justin Hunter continues to improve and had the second 100-yard receiving game as a rookie on Sunday. He had a 41-yard touchdown catch and a 57-yarder that set up another score.
