05/13/14 - New Orleans Saints announce 2014 rookie free agent class: Nic Jacobs – Tight End, McNeese State (6-5, 269): Jacobs, a Louisiana native, spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at LSU where he served primarily as a blocker, catching five passes for 58 yards. After transferring to McNeese, Jacobs was able to develop his skills as a receiver and hauled in 32 passes for 453 yards (14.2 avg.) and four touchdowns in his lone season with the Cowboys. - New Orleans Saints
09/03/13 - WEEK 1 CFPA FCS TIGHT END PERFORMER OF THE WEEK: Nic Jacobs (McNeese State)...Jacobs, a junior transfer from LSU, used his first game as a McNeese Cowboy as his breakout game. He caught five passes for 122 yards and scored two touchdowns. He had scores of 22 and 78 yards with the 78-yarder tying a school record for longest scoring play by a tight end while his two td catches set a new single-game school record by tight ends.

He had touchdown grabs of 22 and 78 yards and totaled 122 yards to lead all receivers in the game.
