09/29/14 - TE Nic Jacobs was signed off the New Orleans practice squad last Tuesday and was immediately pressed into action by the Jaguars who are down in numbers at tight end. Jacobs responded with a catch in the end zone from two yards out in the second quarter against the Chargers to give the Jaguars their last lead in the game at 14-10.
09/23/14 - TE Nic Jacobs was signed by the Jaguars from the Saints practice squad Tuesday (Sept. 23). Jacobs is an undrafted free agent who was with the New Orleans Saints during the preseason and the Saints' practice squad for the first three weeks of the regular season.

09/03/13 - WEEK 1 CFPA FCS TIGHT END PERFORMER OF THE WEEK: Nic Jacobs (McNeese State)...Jacobs, a junior transfer from LSU, used his first game as a McNeese Cowboy as his breakout game. He caught five passes for 122 yards and scored two touchdowns. He had scores of 22 and 78 yards with the 78-yarder tying a school record for longest scoring play by a tight end while his two td catches set a new single-game school record by tight ends.
