04/29/13 - 2013 NFL DRAFT: TOP 10 UNDRAFTED UNDERCLASSMEN: 4. FS Tony Jefferson, Oklahoma (5-11, 213, 4.75)...Jefferson emerged as an impact starter as a true freshman in 2010 in a hybrid nickel safety role and was productive the past three seasons for the Sooners. But poor tackling technique and concerns about his body holding up at the next level were both major factors that saw him slip down boards, eventually going undrafted. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com

02/20/13 - 2013 NFL Combine, Tale of the tape: Oklahoma's Tony Jefferson has been a starter since he arrived in Norman, impressing with his ability to tackle and make plays in coverage. He has a leaner frame but hits like a truck, and scouts will be interested to see what his official numbers are when he tips the scale. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
01/06/13 - It hasn't been the best couple of days for Oklahoma fans. Following Friday night's 41-13 loss to Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl, it was reported by ESPN's Joe Schad on Sunday morning that wide receiver Kenny Stills and safety Tony Jefferson would both be leaving school early to enter the NFL Draft.
Stills was Oklahoma's leading receiver, catching 82 passes for 959 yards and 11 touchdowns. In his three years with the Sooners, Stills had 204 receptions for 2,594 yards and 24 touchdowns, though 2012 was his first season as Landry Jones' top target. With both Stills and Jones leaving school, that's a lot of offense Oklahoma will need to replace in 2013.
Then there's Jefferson, who finished the season with 119 tackles, 3 1/2 for a loss, two interceptions and three passes defended. He was a key contributor to a defense that was one of the best units in the Big 12 the last few seasons. Stills is projected to be a third-round pick in this spring's draft, while Jefferson is expected to go in the second or third round. - Tom Fornelli, CBSSports.com
