01/08/14 - 2013 ALL-CAA FOOTBALL SECOND TEAM (COACHES): DL Antoine Lewis, Villanova, Senior,...Lewis repeats as an All-CAA selection after earning first team accolades last season. He continued to be a top-notch player for Villanova and during the 2013 season made 56 tackles, had three tackles for loss and registered two pass breakups. He was part of a Wildcats defense which held four opponents under 20 points, including three games where the other team was held to six points or fewer. Villanova recorded its first shutout since the 2010 season with a 45-0 win at Rhode Island on November 16.
Prior to receiving all-conference honors in each of the past two seasons, Lewis was also a third team All-CAA pick as a freshman in 2010. He started every game of his collegiate career and played in 48 games during his four seasons on the team. Lewis finishes his Wildcats career with totals of 206 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, four sacks, three pass breakups, three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and one blocked kick. - Villanova football

This was the second time in his career that he earned All-CAA accolades. As a sophomore in 2010, he was named third team All-Conference. Earlier this summer, he was named a preseason All-American by the Sports Network and he was named to the Buck Buchanan preseason watch list. - Villanova football
07/18/13 - 2013 BUCK BUCHANAN AWARD WATCH LIST: Antoine Lewis, DT, Villanova, Sr., 6-2, 290...Having started all 37 games in his first three seasons at Villanova, Lewis' value as the Wildcats' nose guard is unquestioned. But he also is the emotional leader of the defense and sets the tone with his intense play. He is a physical player with excellent instincts and a run-stopper up the middle. While the Wildcats won CAA Football's automatic bid to the FCS playoffs last year, Lewis earned all-conference first-team accolades, collecting 58 tackles and 8.5 for loss. From Somers Point, N.J., Lewis enters his senior season with 113.5 tackles and 16 tackles for loss in his career. - The Sports Network
09/15/12 - Kevin Monangai's two rushing touchdowns and a strong second half defense helps Villanova beat Rhode Island 31-10 on Saturday in the Colonial Athletic Association opener for both teams. Joe Sarnese intercepted Rhode Island's Bob Bentsen on the opening drive to set up the game's first score. That set up Monangai's 1-yard scoring run to give Villanova a 7-0 lead. Monangai finished with 55 yards on 11 carries. Rhode Island (0-2) answered with a 25-yard pass from Bentsen to Billy Morgan to tie the game at 7. Rhode Island's Dylan Smith added a 25-yard field goal to take the halftime lead 10-7. The field goal would be the last points scored by Rhode Island (0-2), though. The Wildcats went on to outscore the Rams 24-0 in the second half. Villanova's defense dominated after halftime, allowing 23 total yards passing and 28 total yards rushing during the final two quarters. - AP Sports
