 Draft Scout *Dee Milliner News
12/28/15 - CB Dee Milliner (hamstring) was inactive Sunday. Milliner, who was injured against the Dallas Cowboys on Dec. 19, has played in just 21 out of 47 games since being picked by the Jets in the first round of the 2013 draft. He missed the first nine games this year due to a wrist injury and has only played special teams since his return.
12/23/15 - CB Dee Milliner (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday. The oft-injured Milliner, who has played in just 21 out of a possible 46 games since being selected in the first round of the 2013 draft, was hurt while playing special teams in last Saturday's 19-16 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Milliner missed the first nine games of the season due to wrist surgery and has subsequently been limited to special teams duty.
11/12/15 - CB Dee Milliner was activated from reserve/injured, designated for return by the Jets Wednesday (Nov. 11).
11/12/15 - CB Dee Milliner made his season debut Thursday, when he saw time as a reserve during the Jets' 22-17 loss to the Bills. It was the first game action of any kind for Milliner since Oct. 12, 2014, when he sustained a torn Achilles tendon. Milliner recovered from that injury in time to begin training camp with the Jets but was sidelined Aug. 6 when he tore a tendon in his right wrist, sending him to injured reserve-designated to return on Sept. 6. He is expected to play a reserve role with the Jets for the rest of the season. Due to a variety of injuries, Milliner has played in just 17 out of a possible 41 games since being selected in the first round of the 2013 draft.
11/11/15 - CB Dee Milliner (wrist) will find out Wednesday if he will play this season. Milliner was placed on injured reserve/designated to return on Sept. 5, which meant he was ineligible to play in the first eight weeks of the season. But he must be activated by 4 p.m. Wednesday or else he cannot play at all this year. Head coach Todd Bowles may have provided a hint about Milliner's immediate future Tuesday when he said Milliner is not an option to play safety for the Jets, who are down to their third-string strong safety. Due to a variety of injuries, Milliner has played in just 16 out of a possible 40 NFL games since being selected in the first round of the 2013 draft.
