Draft Scout News
08/21/16 - WR Kenny Stills had four receptions for 71 yards and 2 touchdowns against Dallas, showing he can be a deep threat and a red zone threat. Stills had a 55-yard reception and touchdown receptions of 13 and 3 yards. If he becomes a legitimate threat Miami's wide receiver corps goes from so-so to good.
08/04/16 - WR Kenny Stills has produced a good offseason overall and a good training camp. Coaches have been impressed with how much time he has put into his craft off the field, but Stills also has been plagued by dropped passes. "We're trying to minimize them as much as possible," coach Adam Gase said. "I know we're way down from what we were in OTAs, so we've made improvement there."
06/16/16 - WR Kenny Stills seems to be forming a chemistry with QB Ryan Tannehill. But it remains clear from watching 11-on-11 and 7-on-7 drills that WR Jarvis Landry remains Tannehill's most trusted target. If Stills emerges as a deep threat, working with Landry and WR DeVante Parker, the passing game could be exciting.
06/02/16 - WR Kenny Stills, who might have to fight for the No. 3 spot behind Jarvis Landry and DeVante Parker, is doing OK so far, according to head coach Adam Gase. Stills said he was disappointed in his performance last season.
"Kenny fits into what we do for the most part. He has position flexibility, which we love as an offensive staff," Gase said. "Being able to play inside and outside, the speed he has, the ball skills he has - we want to keep developing him and giving him as many opportunities (as we can)."
11/22/15 - WR Kenny Stills was targeted twice and made two catches for 52 yards and a touchdown. Stills arrived in Miami this past offseason with the reputation as a deep threat, and he showed that on Sunday with a 29-yard over-the-top score. However, he has disappeared at times, including last week, when he had no catches. In fact, he has been shut out three times this season, and Sunday's big catch was just his second touchdown of the year.
