 Draft Scout Colby Way News
07/26/14 - DT Colby Way was waived by the Bills Friday (July 25).
05/13/14 - Bills undrafted free agents: DL Colby Way - 6-4, 293 - Buffalo...Way made 145 tackles (76 solo) with 26 stops for a loss and 15.0 sacks in his Buffalo career. The defensive lineman started all 11 games he appeared in during the 2013 campaign and was a third-team All-Mid-American Conference selection. “His strong points were his awareness and his effort. He has the ability to take on blocks at the point and he has good instincts to find the ball,” said Majeski. “He’s a little bit of a tweener. His versatility because of his awareness and football intelligence gives him an opportunity to play a couple of different spots.” - Chris Brown, BuffaloBills.com
12/13/13 - 2013 ALL-MAC THIRD TEAM: Down Lineman - Colby Way, Buffalo...Way, a two-time Academic All-MAC selection, has been named to the All-MAC team for the first time in his career. He ranks second on the team with five sacks and third on the squad with 7.5 tackles for loss. He was named the MAC East Division Defensive Player of the Week after registering a career-best three sacks against Western Michigan. - Buffalo football
10/14/13 - WEEK 7 MAC EAST DIVISION DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Buffalo DE Colby Way...Senior defensive end Colby Way (State College, Pa.) had a career-high three sacks to lead a defensive unit to a 33-0 win at Western Michigan. The shutout was the second ever shutout of a MAC opponent and the first road shutout for the program since 1965. Way had four total tackles in the game, but it was his timely sacks that played a huge part in the Bulls' shutout.

In the first quarter, with the Bulls leading 6-0, Way had two of sacks on the same drive that helped move the Broncos from the Buffalo 19-yard line to out of field goal range. In the third quarter, with Buffalo leading 9-0, Way had a sack for a loss of 15 yards that moved the ball from the Buffalo 43 to the Western Michigan 42, forcing another punt. - MAC football

08/22/13 - PLAYERS TO WATCH IN 2013: DE Colby Way - Often overshadowed by LB Khalil Mack and DE Steven Means, Way still recorded 109 tackles on the season. - The Sports Xchange
