09/13/13 - Scouting the Purdue special teams: Cody Webster might be the key to Saturday's game. One of the best punters in the country, Webster averaged more than 46 yards a punt last week and will be even more critical in a game that, for Purdue to win, may well have to come down to a battle for field position. If he can kick the offense out of jams deep in their own territory, that's going to be huge in keeping Notre Dame off the scoreboard. - The Sports Xchange
09/04/13 - PLAYERS TO WATCH: P Cody Webster was the MVP for the Boilermakers in the season opener, never a good sign for your football team. The Ray Guy Award candidate averaged 56.3 yards on his three punts, including a 73-yarder. If this game comes down to a battle of field position and if it does, that's not going to make Purdue fans very happy Webster gives Purdue a big edge. - The Sports Xchange
09/04/13 - Scouting the Purdue special teams: Cody Webster gives the Boilermakers the edge against almost every opponent as far as punting goes, but Darrell Hazell hopes he won't have to be used very often this week. Paul Griggs missed his only field goal attempt in the opener, a 39-yarder, and will need to take advantage at any chance for redemption this week. - The Sports Xchange
07/15/13 - 2013 RAY GUY AWARD WATCH LIST: Cody Webster, Purdue...Webster is coming off a 2012 season that saw him punt 70 times for 2,961 yards (42.3 avg.), place 29 of his 70 kicks inside the opposition's 20-yard line, have 17 punts go over 50 yards and 20 of them get fair caught.
