Draft Scout Kevin White News
11/01/17 - WR Kevin White (shoulder) could still return from a broken scapula. White is on injured reserve after an injury in the opener. White has been in meetings and spent time around players while trying to stay in shape. "He's in the building," head coach John Fox said. "We haven't really discussed seriously at this point about if he can come back, or when. But he's eligible."
09/11/17 - WR Kevin White (collarbone) went on injured reserve with an injury suffered when he was tackled on a reception for zero yards in Sunday's loss.
09/10/17 - WR Kevin White is fragile or unlucky or both. The former first-round pick injured his shoulder in the second half and did not return. White has appeared in only five games since the Bears selected him No. 7 overall in 2015 out of West Virginia. If he is out for an extended period, the Bears will have to scramble to bolster a receiving unit that already has lost Cam Meredith for the season to a knee injury.
07/27/17 - WR Kevin White has played in only four games over two seasons due to broken legs, but there will be no holding him back in training camp. General manager Ryan Pace said White will not be babied through the start of practices. "He's ready to go," Pace said. "He's had a great summer, a great offseason, so he's ready to go. You can just feel his confidence gaining, knowledge of the offense and just being comfortable with his body. He's pretty much unleashed."
01/04/17 - Kevin White, the 2015 first-round draft pick, is expected to make a full recovery after a second broken leg, and eventually run the 4.35-second 40-yard speed he displayed at 2015 combine. White suffered fractures in the same leg his first two years, although the one this year was of a different nature and less severe.
