 Draft Scout Kyle Harbridge News
01/03/14 - 2013 ASSOCIATED PRESS FCS THIRD TEAM ALL-AMERICAN: RB Kyle Harbridge, St. Francis (Penn.), Sr.,...This season, Harbridge capped arguably the most prolific career by any Saint Francis football player by setting school records in rushing yards with 1,619 and touchdowns with 16. He finished third in the NCAA in rushing yards and 11th in rushing touchdowns. Harbridge also finished second in the nation with 188.2 all-purpose yards per game. He was named the Northeast Conference Offensive Player of the Week five times during the season and earned NEC First Team honors.

The Walter Payton Award semifinalist became the first Saint Francis player to rush for over 4,000 yards in a career, finishing with a school record 4,126. He's also the SFU career leader in rushing touchdowns (36) and all-purpose yardage (6,225). He recently earned the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) Elite All-Purpose Award while also being selected to the Capital One Academic All-America team. - St. Francis football

11/23/13 - Kyle Harbridge rushed for 110 yards and scored two touchdowns to help Saint Francis put away Robert Morris 23-3 Saturday. The Red Flash (5-6, 3-3 Northeast) jumped ahead early as Max Ward hit Harbridge for a 44-yard touchdown on the third play of the opening drive. Harbridge scored again 3 1/2 minutes later on a 10-yard run set up from an interception by Lorenzo Jerome. Lance Geesey added three field goals for Saint Francis, with his third making the score 23-3 in the third quarter.

Connor Shennan kicked a field goal at the end of the first half to give Robert Morris (5-6, 3-3) their only points. They finished with four turnovers and were held to just 11 yards rushing. Marcus Prather and Paul Jones combined to go 16-for-45 with 219 yards and three interceptions for the Colonials. Ward was 10 of 18 for 164 yards with two interceptions. - AP Sports

11/13/13 - NOV 11 NEC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kyle Harbridge, Saint Francis U, Easton, PA/Easton Area...Harbridge helped keep Saint Francis’ NEC title hopes alive, carrying the offensive load in a 23-20 road win at Bryant. The Walter Payton Award candidate totaled 208 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns as the Red Flash moved to within 1.0 game of first-place Robert Morris.

After Duquesne held Harbridge to his lowest rushing output of the season in Week 10, the fifth-year senior bounced back by exceeding the 150-yard rushing mark for the fifth time in his last seven games. Averaging 5.3 yards per carry, Harbridge ran 29 times for 154 yards. He also gained 54 yards on three receptions. His two first-half rushing touchdowns (1, 66) staked Saint Francis to a 14-0 lead. Harbridge (1,411 yards) ranks second overall on the Division I FCS rushing leader board. - NEC football

11/09/13 - Kyle Harbridge rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns, helping St. Francis build an early lead that withstood a late rally from Bryant for a 23-20 victory Saturday. Bryant (4-6, 2-3 Northeast Conference) scored two fourth quarter touchdowns in less than 1 minute, 5 seconds to come within a field goal. But Mike Harris intercepted Mike Westerhaus on Bryant's final drive to seal the win for St. Francis (4-5, 2-2). Harbridge's second touchdown run came on a 66-yard run, helping St. Francis to a 20-7 halftime lead.

Bryant scored on an 11-yard touchdown pass from Christopher Schultz to John Lavin with 7:59 left in the game for its first score of the second half. The Bulldogs then used their timeouts on the ensuing possession and forced a punt before scoring again quickly on a three-play drive. Westerhaus threw for 237 yards and a touchdown, but was hurt by three interceptions. - AP Sports

10/28/13 - OCT 28 NEC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kyle Harbridge, Saint Francis U, Easton, PA/Easton Area...Harbridge continued his torrid season, totaling 216 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in Saint Francis’ 24-10 win over Sacred Heart. With Saint Francis trailing 10-3 late in the third quarter, the FCS leader in rushing average (173.7 ypg) scored on a 21-yard pass play from quarterback Capri Thompson.
