 Draft Scout David Quessenberry News
09/12/13 - T David Quessenberry (foot) was placed on reserve/injured by the Texans Tuesday.
09/05/13 - OL David Quessenberry, a sixth-round pick who could play guard and tackle, suffered a season-ending foot injury in practice and is lost for the season. The Texans kept 10 offensive linemen, including four tackles. Quessenberry played guard in preseason. Ben Jones and Cody White are reserve guards behind starters Wade Smith and Brandon Brooks.
04/28/13 - A closer look at the Texans' picks: Round 6/176 - David Quessenberry, T, 6-5, 302, San Jose State...A former tight end with quick feet, agility and balance. He has movement skills coaches like in their zone scheme. He needs work on technique, and he's got to get stronger and more consistent to compete for playing time. - The Sports Xchange
04/08/13 - 2013 San Jose State Pro Day: David Quessenberry, OT (6-4 7/8, 303) - Quessenberry stood on his numbers from the combine (he was among the top performers in his position group in the short shuttle), and did the positional drills at the pro day. - Gil Brandt, NFL.com
03/16/13 - 2012 San Jose State Pro Day: 19 players with San Jose State University ties were among 20 athletes participating in the program's annual Pro Timing Day held in the Koret Athletic Training Center and Spartan Stadium.

12 of the 19 were seniors on the Spartans' Military Bowl winning team. Offensive tackle David Quessenberry, a participant in the NFL's 2013 Combine in Indianapolis, only had his height and weight taken at the San Jose State day. Quessenberry did all the physical tests (vertical leap, standing long jump, bench press, 40-yard dash, shuttle run and cone drill) during the League's Combine.

Seven former Spartans from previous teams also performed before the 23 NFL teams and one Arena Football League franchise represented. Former San Jose State stars Jeff Garcia and wide receiver James Jones for the activities. Garcia was one of two quarterbacks used in the pass catching drills following the conclusion of the sixstandard physical tests. - San Jose State football
