 Draft Scout Jack Doyle News
01/24/13 - 2013 Senior Bowl, Tight Ends...6. Jack Doyle, Western Kentucky. The consensus on Doyle is that he lagged in speed compared to his competition. He can probably fill in as a second tight end and could stand to get stronger and fill out his 6-5 frame but there's not a lot to get excited about otherwise. - Dave Richard, CBSSports.com
12/26/12 - PLAYERS TO WATCH: TE Jack Doyle is one of the top tight end prospects in the country. A native of Indianapolis, Doyle led the team with 47 receptions and 530 yards. At 6-6, 255, Doyle is QB Kawaun Jakes' favorite target and he works extremely well in the West Coast system of play-action and multiple tight ends. - The Sports Xchange
12/14/12 - 2012 ALL-SUN BELT CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM (COACHES & MEDIA): Jack Doyle (WKU, Sr., TE), has been selected First Team All-Sun Belt Conference (Coaches & Media selection) for the 2012 college football season. Doyle is on the all-conference team for the second straight season after earning a second-team selection in 2011. The Indianapolis, Ind., native was one of eight national semifinalist for the 2012 John Mackey Award in 2012. He led WKU in both receptions (47) and receiving yards (530) from the tight end position - the second straight year he has led the team in both categories.

Doyle averaged 11.3 yards per catch and 44.2 yards per game. He recorded at least one catch in all 12 games, and had at least three receptions in 11 contests. He posted a season-best seven receptions against #1 Alabama, while racking up a season-high 82 receiving yards against Louisiana-Monroe. He also pulled in two of his four touchdown receptions on the year against ULM. - Western Kentucky football

11/01/12 - PLAYERS TO WATCH: Tight end Jack Doyle has at least four catches in the past three games. Those 15 catches have total 184 yards and three have gone for a touchdown. Doyle, a midseason Mackey Award Watch candidate, continues to be the passing game's No. 1 target. - The Sports Xchange
10/11/12 - SCOUTING THE OFFENSE: The Hilltoppers were shutout in the first half against Arkansas State -- yet still put up 26 points and 365 yards of total offense. As was the case in 2011, the WKU offense continues to grow stronger as the weeks go on. Now ranked the 25th best rushing attack in the country, WKU will not differ from trying to pound the ball and maintain a healthy time of possession throughout. - The Sports Xchange
