05/12/17 - QB Marcus Mariota's recovery is still on track, the Titans say, despite the fact that he has yet to do any full speed running. Coach Mike Mularkey downplayed the need for Mariota to do so this early in the offseason, now 4 1/2 months removed from surgery on his broken right fibula that required a plate to be inserted into the leg. "He's jogging right now. It's still early. It's mid-May, so there's no rush to do it," Mularkey said of Mariota running full speed.
01/02/17 - QB Marcus Mariota, who was at Friday's practice and Sunday's game, will have his scooter-type cart for about eight weeks. It will be that long before Mariota can put weight on his foot again. He underwent surgery on Dec. 28 after breaking his right fibula against Jacksonville.

12/26/16 - QB Marcus Mariota will have surgery on his broken leg Wednesday and will need four to five months to recover. Mariota sustained a fractured right fibula during Saturday's 38-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Coach Mike Mularkey told reporters Monday that Mariota will have a plate inserted where the fracture is located. The second-year quarterback is expected to return in time for offseason organized team activities in May or June.
