12/19/16 - CB Marcus Peters (groin) left Sunday's game against Tennessee with a spasm in his right groin area. Peters left the field appearing to be in great pain and was treated on the sideline with some heating pads. Eventually, he returned to the field on the next Kansas City defensive opportunity.
11/24/16 - CB Marcus Peters (hip) was a limited participant in practice on Thursday with the Chiefs for the second straight day. He missed last Sunday's game because of a hip pointer suffered in Carolina.
11/23/16 - CB Marcus Peters (hip) was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday with the Chiefs, coming off missing a game because of a hip pointer injury suffered in Carolina. Peters did not practice at all last week and then was inactive in the loss to Tampa Bay. "We'll just see how he does rep wise and kind of keep a close eye on him," Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said.
11/21/16 - CB Marcus Peters (hip) sat out Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay due to a hip pointer suffered in the victory over Carolina on Nov. 13. "His hip is just killing him," head coach Andy Reid said of Peters. "He tried his heart out to be there and I just sent him home to get off his leg and get that thing better. Those are painful things."
