08/07/17 - G Eric Kush (hamstring) is lost for the season with a torn hamstring. Kush played in eight games with four starts last year due to injuries to Kyle Long and Josh Sitton. The Bears' depth at guard is greater this year. William Poehls and Tom Compton took almost all the snaps with the first team at guard from the start of OTAs until near the end of the first week of training camp.
08/01/17 - G Eric Kush left Sunday's practice due to hamstring tightness.
02/15/17 - OL Eric Kush was re-signed by the Bears to a two-year contract. Kush, 27, was claimed off waivers from the Rams after the 53-man roster cut downs just prior to the start of the 2016 season, adding depth to the Bears' offensive line. He started a career-high four games out of eight contests with the Bears.
12/29/16 - G Eric Kush (knee) went through a full practice Thursday and is expected to be available to play Sunday against Minnesota. Kush was inactive last week as a result of his injury.
12/28/16 - G Eric Kush (concussion) is in the league protocol and practiced Wednesday on a limited basis. Kush was inactive for the Washington game.
