Draft Scout *Kevin Dodd News
10/18/17 - LB Kevin Dodd has been a healthy scratch in all but one game thus far this season, prompting many fans to consider the 2016 second-round pick from Clemson a bust.
Dodd, however, remains confident in himself, and might even get a chance to suit up Sunday against the Browns, if starting outside linebacker Derrick Morgan is still bothered by an abdominal strain suffered in Monday night's win over the Colts.
09/27/17 - LB Kevin Dodd got three special teams snaps and played a few series as a backup on Sunday, and is slowly improving, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.
09/20/17 - LB Kevin Dodd, inactive the first two weeks, could get a chance to be active for the first time this season because of Aaron Wallace's injury.
07/29/17 - LB Kevin Dodd was cleared and back on the practice field after having two surgeries in the past 14 months for a fifth metatarsal injury in his right foot.
Dodd admitted Saturday that he feared for his career when he had to have the second procedure.
"After I got that second surgery, I thought it was over with," Dodd said of his career. "But (head coach) Mike (Mularkey) and (general manager) Jon (Robinson) told me to be patient, and they would work with me, that this kind of thing happens. It was just a freak injury, and they told me to be patient.
"So I learned to be patient with this injury."
03/01/17 - OLB Kevin Dodd, whose rookie season was ruined by a foot injury sustained in May, is trying to work his way back. He landed on injured reserve in the middle of last season due to his inability to work through the pain following surgery to have a screw inserted into his fifth metatarsal bone. "He had an outstanding rookie camp when he came in," Titans GM Jon Robinson said. "He's long, he's got a good first step, he's a powerful guy, and then he had the foot thing and it just never really got back to normal. He's working hard to get back out there. He's another young, talented outside linebacker for us who can play in the run game and rush the passer. So we're looking forward to having him back."
