Spencer finished second in the country with 26½ tackles for loss. If he can run in the 4.6s, there may be talk about his potential as an outside linebacker, which should cause his stock to skyrocket.
Did not do agility drills, just ran 40.

Draft Scout Anthony Spencer News
04/13/15 - LB Anthony Spencer left the Cowboys for the Saints Friday (April 10), signing a one-year contract.
Spencer, 31, spent his first eight seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, who drafted him in the first round in 2007. He recorded 33 sacks, 497 tackles and 12 forced fumbles in 104 games (67 starts).
Spencer's best season came in 2012, when he tallied 11 sacks and 106 tackles. But he suffered a knee injury in the 2013 season opener and underwent microfracture surgery.
He returned to Dallas on a one-year contract last year and played 13 in games, with 25 tackles and just half a sack. In the Cowboys' two playoff games, he had a sack and a forced fumble.
Spencer joins a New Orleans defense that has undergone a bit of a makeover this offseason, with the additions of cornerbacks Brandon Browner and Kyle Wilson and linebacker Dannell Ellerbe. Gone are cornerbacks Patrick Robinson and Corey White and linebacker Curtis Lofton.
03/04/15 - DE Anthony Spencer came on strong late in 2014 as he got healthier after starting the season on PUP because of microfracture surgery. The question is: How much does he have left -- and at what cost? The Cowboys need a passer rusher, not an occasional starter.
01/05/15 - DE Anthony Spencer had his best game of the season against the Lions with three tackles, a sack and a forced fumble. He played in a season-high 40 snaps.
12/02/14 - DE Anthony Spencer has just a half-sack this season, but the Cowboys think he can have a bigger role over the final four games of the season. He missed last year because of microfracture knee surgery.
"He's had a role that we hope that can be increasing," coach Jason Garrett said. "He's been part of the rotation. I think at different games he's showed up. Other games he hasn't been quite as effective. But he's a good football player and I think he's learning to play this scheme as he goes. He's been a stand-up outside linebacker for most of his pro career so I think getting him down into his stance and getting him comfortable down in and down out doing what the job requires has been a process but in certain games he's shown up, other games not quite as much. We certainly need him down the stretch."
10/23/14 - DE Anthony Spencer was limited in practice on Thursday with a sprained foot. Spencer is expected to play against the Redskins Monday. Spencer missed most of last season after undergoing microfracture surgery.
