Butt practiced off and on the last three weeks, but soreness in the knee he injured last December was enough to cause the Broncos to shut the fifth-round pick down for the season.
11/01/17 - TE Jake Butt did not practice last week because of soreness after his first week of practice following a nine-and-a-half-month recovery from a torn ACL. The rookie is on the reserve/non-football injury list, and the Broncos have until Nov. 6 to decide whether to move him to the 53-man roster.
