09/14/17 - DT Robert Nkemdiche (calf strain) was expected to be a full participant in practice on Wednesday, but he was limited for a second straight day. "It looks like he's trending in a positive way and we'll know a little bit more tomorrow after practice," defensive coordinator James Bettcher said Thursday. "But he is trending in a good direction in terms of what he did at practice today."
09/06/17 - DT Robert Nkemdiche did not practice Wednesday because of a lingering calf strain, which he suffered at the end of training camp.
Head coach Bruce Arians said if there's a chance Nkemdiche can practice on Thursday, the second-year pro could possibly play Sunday in Detroit.
08/29/17 - DT Robert Nkemdiche is still recovering from a calf strain suffered last week, but he is out of a walking boot and coach Bruce Arians said the second-year pro is "doing fine."
08/24/17 - DT Robert Nkemdiche remains in a walking boot after sustaining a calf strain, but coach Bruce Arians doesn't expect the second-year pro to be sidelined very long.
He's putting Nkemdiche's return at a week to 10 days. "I hate that he's going to miss some time, but I don't think he'll miss any (regular-season) games," Arians said.
