09/07/09 - QB Kevin O'Connell was acquired by the Jets from the Lions for an undisclosed draft pick. The Jets already have Matt Sanchez, Kellen Clemens and Erik Ainge on the roster, but O'Connell comes with knowledge of the division-rival Patriots, who drafted him in the third round in 2008. "We had a lot of interest in Kevin when he was coming out in the draft last year," general manager Mike Tannenbaum said. "He's smart and athletic, and we feel good about adding him to our team. We will move forward with four quarterbacks on our roster."
