Draft Scout *Aaron Rodgers News
11/16/14 - QB Aaron Rodgers extended his streak of consecutive passes without an interception at home to an NFL-record 322 attempts. Tom Brady held the old record (288); Rodgers broke the mark on the first series.
11/10/14 - QB Aaron Rodgers needed one more touchdown pass to set a franchise record and tie an NFL record with seven touchdowns. However, his night ended on a third-and-goal incompletion midway through the third quarter. Coach Mike McCarthy said he was unaware of that record and his plan was to play Rodgers for the first two series of the third quarter. Nonetheless, Rodgers tied Daryle Lamonica's NFL record with six touchdown passes in the first half. The "Mad Bomber" accomplished his six-touchdown half on Oct. 19, 1969, vs. Buffalo.
11/10/14 - QB Aaron Rodgers on Sunday night showed no lingering effects from a pulled hamstring he sustained in the Packers' pre-bye loss at the New Orleans Saints two weeks earlier. Rodgers passed for a team-record-tying six touchdowns – all in the first half – in Green Bay's 55-14 rout of the rival Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field. Rodgers finished 18-for-27 for 315 yards with no turnovers for an exceptional passer rating of 145.8 before he exited the game midway through the third quarter.
11/06/14 - QB Aaron Rodgers remains on track to make the start Sunday night against the Chicago Bears. Rodgers practiced as a full participant Thursday for the second straight day and doesn't seem to be hampered in any way by the pulled left hamstring he sustained in the Oct. 26 loss at the New Orleans Saints before Green Bay had its bye week.
11/05/14 - QB Aaron Rodgers was a full participant in practice Wednesday and expects to be good for the Sunday night home game against the Chicago Bears. With the Packers on their bye, Rodgers had more than a week to recover from a pulled left hamstring he sustained early in the second half of Green Bay's loss at the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 26. The injury didn't keep Rodgers from playing most of the half until he was lifted in the waning minutes of the lopsided outcome.
