 Draft Scout *Aaron Rodgers News
10/19/14 - QB Aaron Rodgers joined Patriots QB Tom Brady as the only players in NFL history with four consecutive games of three-plus touchdown passes and no interceptions. That puts him in the race for the MVP, an award he won in 2011. Not that it is on his mind. "I wouldn't mind it, but it ... I'll take a Super Bowl championship first," Rodgers said.
10/02/14 - QB Aaron Rodgers' third touchdown pass of the game gave him 200 for his career. He reached the milestone in 99 games. Only Dan Marino (89 games) got there faster. "My 100th touchdown was in Atlanta, and James (Jones) threw the ball about 80 rows up," he said. "And 200 was to Davante (Adams), his first touchdown. I'm not going to take his ball. Hopefully I can get to 300 and throw it to a guy who's caught a touchdown before so I can keep that one." Rodgers posted a 138.7 passer rating. He topped 130 in six of his past seven games against the Vikings.
10/01/14 - QB Aaron Rodgers was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday. Rodgers completed 22 of 28 passes for 302 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions for a near-perfect passer rating of 151.2 to lead the Packers to a 38-17 win at the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Rodgers also surpassed 25,000 passing yards for his career in the game, doing so with the fewest pass attempts (3,065) in NFL history
09/28/14 - QB Aaron Rodgers completed 22 of 28 passes for 302 yards and four touchdowns and the Green Bay defense, which was shredded for more than 300 yards before halftime, held Chicago scoreless and made a pair of interceptions to dominate the second half. The Packers were so efficient that, early in the fourth quarter, they had scored their 38 points while running only 41 plays on offense.
09/21/14 - QB Aaron Rodgers had an unusually quiet outing, passing for just 162 yards and not having a completion of more than 18 yards. The Packers had their lowest point total in a game that Rodgers started and also finished since Rodgers became a starting quarterback. He misfired on a potential fourth-down touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson during the fourth quarter that could have gotten the Packers back in the game. "We haven't been as sharp offensively," Rodgers said. "I haven't been as sharp. It may be the standard I've set but we've all got to do better."
