The deal has a base value of $1.8 million -- $1.5 million of which is guaranteed -- and the maximum value is $1.95 million, a league source told ESPN. Slater, 30, is a five-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time first-team All-Pro as a special teams player. He has made more than 120 tackles over his career.
