Draft Scout *Eric Wright News
11/18/13 - -- CB Eric Wright made his 49ers debut against the Saints.
08/28/13 - CB Eric Wright reported to the 49ers Tuesday and was placed on reserve/non-football illness.
12/31/12 - CB Eric Wright, who was activated off the suspended list, was inactive for Sunday's game at Atlanta. The Bucs got out from under the guaranteed money owed Wright next season and it's clear he may not have a future in Tampa Bay.
12/31/12 - -CB Eric Wright may have played his last game as a Buc. Wright, who signed a five-year, $37.5 million deal in the offseason, admittedly had an "up-and-down" year, which included a four-game suspension for what he labeled a one-time Adderall use. Wright was eligible to return last week, and said he was healthy and ready to go, but was made inactive for Sunday's game. Wright's suspension enables the Bucs to void the guarantees in his contract. "I can't tell you what his future is with the Bucs, because that hasn't been determined yet," Schiano said. Wright didn't know either. "I'm under contract, so, mentally, that's the way I'm going into the offseason," he said.
12/24/12 - CB Eric Wright returned from his four-game suspension Monday, but it's uncertain whether he will play in the regular-season finale at Atlanta on Sunday. Wright was suspended four games for Adderall use.
"He is back. Can't tell you right now without getting on the field and seeing where he is and formulating a plan and all those things," Schiano said. "I think he'll be in shape. I just have to see what I think is the best thing for our football team, which I'm not sure right now."
