 Draft Scout Tony Ugoh News
07/31/12 - OT Tony Ugoh decided to retire after being signed last week. "He retired from the game and there's nothing we can do about that," Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel said. "You've got to have a desire and you've got to have your mind clear on all your problems and things out of the way to try to play this game."
07/31/12 - OT Tony Ugoh, who had been with the Chiefs for about a week, decided to retire.
07/25/12 - OT Tony Ugoh signed with the Chiefs. A second-round pick by Indianapolis in 2007, Ugoh spent his first three NFL seasons with the Colts. After spending part of 2010 with Detroit, he appeared in three games for the Giants last season. The sixth-year veteran has played in 40 career games with 28 starts, and will battle for a backup role behind starters Branden Albert and Eric Winston.
01/05/12 - OL Tony Ugoh did not practice on Thursday because he was experiencing soreness the day after having someone roll up on his ankle in Wednesday's practice, according to head coach Tom Coughlin. If he is unable to play on Sunday, Ugoh, who is currently the team's blocking tight end, would likely be replaced by offensive lineman Jim Cordle, who played the role earlier in the year after Stacy Andrews was placed on injured reserve.
