08/06/14 - LB Phillip Hunt was signed by the Colts Wednesday (Aug. 6). Hunt, 6-1, 254 pounds, played in 22 career games with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2011-12, recording 15 tackles (14 solo) and 3.0 sacks. He spent the 2013 season on Injured Reserve after suffering an injury in the preseason. Prior to signing with the Eagles, Hunt spent two years (2009-2010) in the Canadian Football League with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, where he totaled 64 tackles, 19.0 sacks and one fumble recovery. In 2010, he was named the team's most outstanding defensive player after leading the CFL with 16.0 sacks. He also set a CFL record with at least 1.0 sack in each of his last 10 games.
