Draft Scout Glenn Dorsey News
01/03/13 - DE Glenn Dorsey finished the season on the injured reserve list due to a calf injury. It also brought an end to his rookie year contract from 2008. Dorsey will be an unrestricted free agent in March after four average to good seasons. He's one of five Chiefs starters scheduled to be a free agent in 2013.
11/14/12 - DE Glenn Dorsey was moved to the injured-reserve list because of continuing problems, including strained calf muscles in both his left and right leg. Since he's in the final season of his rookie contract, Dorsey is unlikely to step on the playing field again wearing a Chiefs uniform.
Dorsey's snaps have fallen to Ropati Pitoitua, who has been one of the more consistent defenders on the underachieving defense.
11/13/12 - DE Glenn Dorsey (calf) was placed on reserve/injured by the Chiefs Monday and will miss the rest of the season.
11/11/12 - DE Glenn Dorsey has seen his season disappear due to a pair of calf injuries. Dorsey first injured his left calf during a Sept. 27 practice. He missed four games but got back on the field in San Diego on Nov. 1. He suffered a right calf injury in that game and left the field on a cart. His status for the second half of the season appears questionable at best.
11/08/12 - DE Glenn Dorsey will not play on Monday night against the Steelers because of the calf problem that he reinjured last week in San Diego. Dorsey has not been on the practice field this week and his prognosis at this point is unknown.
