Post-Draft Outlook:
A closer look at the Giants' picks: Round 2/45 -- Clint Sintim, OLB, 6-3, 256, Virginia...Sintim played outside linebacker in the Cavaliers' 3-4 defense and Giants' coordinator Bill Sheridan, a former linebackers coach until Steve Spagnuolo got the head coaching job in St. Louis, feels that suits the ideas of how the Giants intend to use him. He will play an "up defensive end" role on sure pass situations and will join the pass-rush rotation system. - by The Sports Xchange

 Draft Scout Clint Sintim News
08/16/12 - LB Clint Sintim, the Giants' second-round draft pick in 2009 who has suffered major knee injuries each of the past two years, was waived from the physically unable to perform list. He didn't participate in the team's offseason program and has been unable to pass a physical. Sintim tore his right ACL on Dec. 13, 2010. He re-tore the ACL, along with the patella tendon, in the preseason finale last year.
08/04/12 - LB Clint Sintim (knee/PUP) remains sidelined with no estimated return date given and his roster spot in grave danger.
07/30/12 - LB Clint Sintim (knee) was placed on PUP as he continues to rehab form his second knee surgery in as many years. Sintim missed all of the spring and his future with the team appears to be shaky.
07/28/12 - LB Clint Session (knee). failed his physical and was declared active/physically unable to perform by the Giants.
04/12/12 - LB Clint Sintim, who missed last season with a knee injury, reported that his surgically repaired knee is on the mend and that he is looking forward to getting back to the gridiron. "My knee feels awesome," Sintim tweeted. "Good signs 2 come for 2morrow." Sintim, who is entering the final year of his rookie contract, has been projected to play strong-side linebacker. However, he has struggled to make the transition from the 3-4 defense he played in college to the 4—3 that the Giants play, partially because of the injuries he has had to work through.
