01/15/18 - CB Darrelle Revis told ESPN he felt he played well enough to continue his playing career next season. Revis, 33, signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 23 and appeared in five regular-season games, along with the 22-21 loss to the Tennessee Titans in the wild card round on Jan. 6. He recorded 11 combined tackles in the regular season, along with two passes defended.
12/13/17 - CB Darrelle Revis appears on the injury report with a shoulder injury, but continued practicing in full. Revis played 56 snaps -- 92 percent of the team's defensive plays -- against the Raiders. The Chiefs spent most of the game in substitution packages with five and six defensive backs. Revis appears settled in as the team's nickel back, coming in at right corner when starter Steven Nelson moves to the slot.
12/04/17 - CB Darrelle Revis played only the first half in Kansas City's 38-31 loss to New York on Sunday. The seven-time Pro Bowler said, who signed with the Chiefs 11 days ago, said the plan all along was to ease him back into action. He finished with five tackles, but looked rusty in pass coverage. "I haven't played a football game in 12 months, so I think that's why coach made that call in the second half," Revis said about taking a seat after halftime. "I'm trying to dust off the cobwebs."
12/04/17 - CB Darrelle Revis played 36 snaps in his debut with the Chiefs, all coming in the first half against his former teammates, the New York Jets.
"It was great to be back out there," Revis said after the game. "I was really excited to play. That was coach's call. I haven't played a football game in 12 months, so I think that's why coach made that call in the second half."
