02/05/10 - TE Tony Curtis signed a reserve/future contract with the 49ers. Curtis (6-5, 251) was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Dallas Cowboys out of Portland State in 2005. He went on to play in 36 games (six starts) in three seasons with Dallas, recording 11 catches for 50 yards and three touchdowns. Curtis also gained playing experience overseas, seeing action in nine games (four starts) as a member of the Cologne Centurions in 2007. In 2009, he spent three games (Weeks 3-5) on the Baltimore Ravens active roster, but was inactive for each contest.
