04/07/14 - CB Carlos Rogers was signed by the Raiders April 1.
04/01/14 - CB Carlos Rogers had his contract terminated by the 49ers with a post-June 1 designation March 11.
01/15/14 - CB Carlos Rogers resumed practicing Wednesday for the first time in over two weeks after sustaining a right hamstring staring in the Week 17 win over the Arizona Cardinals. He hopes to play Sunday, but will have to re-earn his starting job after the defense has played so well in its first two playoff games.
Said coach Jim Harbaugh. "There is a subset questions other than the question, ‘Will Carlos start if he's ready to play.' In terms of do you come back at a 100 percent, 90 percent, 95 percent, that'll all be determined out on the practice field. Those subset of questions will be answered out there."
01/13/14 - CB Carlos Rogers was out for the second straight week after he suffered a right hamstring strain in the final moments of Week 17's win in Arizona. Rogers hasn't participated in practice since sustaining the injury and his status remains week-to-week. He said prior to the Panthers game he wouldn't risk reinjuring his hamstring if he wasn't 100 percent because it would likely end his season.
01/10/14 - CB Carlos Rogers still hasn't returned to practice this week after missing all of last week's and the game against the Packers Sunday after injuring his hamstring the previous week in Arizona.
"I have to be smart," he said Thursday. "I don't know if I'll be ready, but I'm trying."
Rogers said he has resumed running, but hasn't tested his hamstring in any start-and-stop situations. He also hasn't resumed doing anything side-to-side.
