01/09/13 - CB/KR Leodis McKelvin, who led the NFL in punt return average (18.7) and was fourth in kickoff returns (28.3) has been selected the return specialist on the 2012 USA Football All-Fundamentals Team, which honors 26 NFL players -- 11 offense, 11 defense and four special teams -- who exhibit exemplary football techniques for youth players to emulate. Each player earned a $1,500 equipment grant to donate to a youth program of their choice.
12/21/12 - CB/KR Leodis McKelvin was placed on injured reserve with a groin issue that wasn't going to heal anytime soon. The move freed up a roster spot for other needs. McKelvin had a Pro Bowl quality season returning kicks and punts, averaging 18.7 yards on 23 punt returns with two touchdowns and 28.3 yards on 18 kickoff returns with a long of 59.
