10/17/16 - WR Louis Murphy will start his reserve/physically unable to perform 21-day practice period with the Buccaneers on Monday. Murphy, who is currently on the reserve/physically unable to perform list, can be activated at any time during his 21-day practice period.
The 29-year-old Murphy has been out since suffering a torn ACL last October against the Washington Redskins. The 6-2, 200-pound Murphy had 10 catches for 198 yards in six games last season before the knee injury.

The 29-year-old also famously fell asleep while at a wedding in the offseason and broke a pane of glass in order to call for help.

10/26/15 - WR Louis Murphy has a torn right anterior cruciate ligament and will be lost for the season, coach Lovie Smith confirmed Monday.
Murphy, the team's No. 3 receiver, was injured after a 29-yard reception when he was tackled by Redskins cornerback Bashaud Breeland with just under eight minutes left in the first quarter of the Bucs' 31-30 loss.
"He sustained an ACL injury that will force him to miss the rest of the season," Smith said Monday.
Fellow receiver Vincent Jackson suffered a knee injury Sunday and did not finish the game. "We'll continue to evaluate him," Smith said.
Murphy had 10 catches for 198 yards and no touchdowns this season. The former Florida and Lakewood High star is in his second season with the Bucs.
