2010: Portis passed for 2,650 yards and completed 61.2 percent (205-for-335) of his passes during his senior season. He led the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and ranked No. 15 in NCAA Division II with a passing efficiency of 156.0 behind 33 touchdowns and just seven interceptions. The 6-4 quarterback finished his career ranked fourth in school history with 6,072 passing yards and 6,591 yards of total offense in only two seasons with the program. He also established the all-time record with 69 touchdown passes after becoming the first player in school history to twice throw for 30 touchdowns in a season (36, 33). Portis posted a 21-6 record while starting every game over the last two seasons. He was a two-time All-PSAC selection and a regional finalist for the 2010 Harlon Hill Trophy, which is awarded annually to the NCAA Division II College Football Player of the Year...2007: Transfer from Florida...Ruled ineligible prior to the season opener and did not see game action ... did practice with the team ... competed with Jordan Steffy and Chris Turner for the No. 1 signal-caller job in the preseason ...2006: Sat out due to NCAA transfer rules ... earned the Terps' offensive scout team player of the year award...2005 at Florida: Saw action in six of 11 games ... decided to transfer prior to the Gators' trip to the Outback Bowl ... was 6 of 11 for 81 yards with no touchdowns and one interception on the season ...cousin of Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis.
